Using a distressed and incomplete copy of the first printing of Mark Twain's classic novel, D'Ambrosio has created a restrained, yet elegant presentation of various illustrated leaves in book form with the forward by Mark Twain taken from his autobiography. The leaves have been deacidified and tabbed for identification and handling. The cover reproduces various Kemble illustrations and the book is housed in a clamshell case that identifies the chapters from which the leaves were taken.
