| Vance Gerry (1930-2005) worked for nearly fifty years as an animator and story editor for Disney Studios, where he played an instrumental role in the production of many feature films, including 101 Dalmations, The Jungle Book, and Beauty and the Beast. He also enjoyed an international reputation as the proprietor of the Weatherbird Press, printing elegantly designed books filled with sparkling illustrations.
